Emergency
Our school nurses will be on hand at all times throughout the tournament and Rokko Island Hospital is 2 minutes away. Many hospitals in the area are reluctant to administer medication or treatment to a student unless permission is granted from the parents and a medical history is available. Please ensure coaches carry such documentation for their teams
Laundry Service
Located in the locker room, we have a washing machine and dryer. You are welcome to use this facility at your own responsibility. For the safety of your uniforms this has to be modified to a cold-water wash.
Free Time
Japan and in particularly Rokko Island remains a very safe environment. In addition to the library being open for any study periods, the students and coaches can freely travel around the local environment. There are a variety of local Japanese fast food outlets on Rokko Island as well as a number of other western choices. Common sense prevails and as always students need to travel in pairs and must communicate with their coaches their movement both on and off Rokko Island.
Team Dinners
If teams are wishing to do a group dinner these must be held on Thursday evening. Please communicate arrangements with host families.
Please don’t not arrange any other evenings for team dinners.
